Launch of CAP Digital Health
within the framework of the call for expressions of interest
“Skills and Future Professions”

Three winning projects from the university within the call for expressions of interest “Skills and Future Professions” were launched on Tuesday, April 9th.
One of these projects is CAP Digital Health led by Rodolphe THIEBAUT (Director of BPH); the co-winners being CAP Elena (led by Noëlle Lewis) and CAP AI (led by Francois Clautiaux).

This launch took place in the presence of the project leaders, the vice-president in charge of training Pascal Lecroart, the university president Dean Lewis, as well as Françoise Jeanson, Vice President of Health at Conseil Régional de Nouvelle Aquitaine de l’Ordre des Médecins.

These three projects will play a major role in transforming training offerings to make them more responsive to major societal and environmental challenges and to the socio-economic world.

The CAP Digital Health project proposes innovative training devices in the field of digital health, targeting both students and health and medico-social professionals, as well as scientific students and professionals from scientific backgrounds.

These training programs (initial and ongoing), in coordination with existing devices, will cover all the needs of the sector, from acculturating learners to basic digital health skills (telemedicine, health data, AI) towards a more specialized focus (simulation, data sciences).

The call for expressions of interest “Skills and Future Professions” was launched as part of the national plan France 2030, the objective of which is to prepare France for the future through major strategic investment choices in the service of citizens and strong ecological ambition.
Its ambition is to produce better, live better, understand the world better, catch up on France’s lag in certain historical sectors, and create new promising sectors for the future.
Ce travail/projet a bénéficié d’une aide de l’Etat gérée par l’Agence Nationale de la Recherche au titre de France 2030 portant la référence “ANR-23-CMAS-0018”.
