The Centre’s research teams have developed major cohorts that provide opportunities for population monitoring and research studies. These cohorts are organised around several themes.

Health of the elderly

  • Paquid: Elderly QUID
  • Memento: Determining factors and evolution of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders
  • AMI: retired farmers living in rural Gironde
  • 3Cités: Individuals aged 65 and over in Bordeaux, Dijon and Montpellier
  • B cube (Biobank and brain health in Bordeaux) : a population-based study of young seniors after age 55 to study the exposome of brain aging in early stages

Nutrition and neurodegenerative diseases

  • Coginut: Cognition, anti-oxidizing agents, fatty acids: Interdisciplinary approach to nutrition in brain aging
  • 3Cités: Individuals aged 65 and over in Bordeaux, Dijon and Montpellier
  • B cube (Biobank and brain health in Bordeaux) : a population-based study of young seniors after age 55 to study the exposome of brain aging in early stages with a specific focus on nutrition and lifestyle
