The International Summer School of Bordeaux school of public health provides short courses covering topics around population health studies. The program will be held from July 3rd  to July 11th  2017 in Bordeaux, France. It covers important and innovative methodological aspects of population health studies and their communication, through formal lectures and practical demonstrations.

The courses are designed for scientists, health professionals, post-doctoral fellows, students and others who are interested in population studies, prevention, public health, statistical methods, big data, health policy, and health communication.

In this first edition, we offer 3 courses:

  1. Statistical analysis of big data in systems immunology (proposed by the U1219 SISTM team)
  2. Health Communication
  3. The Social inequalities and health

Working language will be English.

The summer school will gather faculty people from ISPED and U1219 Bordeaux Population Health as well as internationally renowned experts in population health studies, biostatistics, social determinants of health, health communication and will be a unique opportunity to learn cutting edge research methods and to have interactions with renowned international experts.
