Best Poster Award for studies on predicting cardiovascular disease risk based on machine learning

Prof. Gayo Diallo, co-leader of the BPH-AHeaD team, presented this study on the applications of AI and semantic technologies to medical practice, particularly in the field of cardiovascular diseases.
The prize was awarded to the poster entitled« Prédiction basée sur l’apprentissage automatique du risque de maladie cardiovasculaire : une prévision sur 5 ans utilisant 22 millions de points de données des pays nordiques et de la France » . I
It is the result of an international collaboration involving scientists from the BPH in Bordeaux (Arti Rawat, Julien Bezin and Gayo Diallo) as well as the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, the University of Helsinki in Finland and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health in Bergen, Norway.
Pr. Gayo Diallo is involved alongside his partners in this ‘HEALTHDATA@EU EHDS Pilot 2’ project funded by the European Commission (2022-10 to 2024-12), which aims to build the future European Health Data Space (EHDS).
