FOURTH MITS SEMINAR ORGANISED BY THE BBPH ASSOCIATION – 27 May 2026
RetourThe BBPH Association will be hosting its fourth MITS seminar on the following topic:
« The 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 to the œ𝐮𝐯𝐫𝐞 : “From the moment of the moment to the end 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 and the 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 of the sante”
Speakers :
- Yorick DAHAN – PhD student at INRAE / Department of Environmental Sciences: “Study of the mechanism of motility in minimal helical bacteria; the hidden mechanics of spiroplasms: an investigation into the workings of a unique molecular motor”
- Léa Tison – postdoctoral researcher at INRAE / Department of Environmental Sciences: “Assessing exposure and the impacts of plant protection product use in vineyards on non-target species, the terrestrial food chain and human health”
- Remy Fougeray – PhD student at the BPH / Department of Public Health: “The association between exposure to chemical contaminants in food and age-related eye conditions”
The aim of the MITS seminars is to promote interdisciplinary collaboration among early-career researchers at the University of Bordeaux. Each session brings together an early-career researcher from the Department of Public Health and an early-career researcher from one of the other research departments at the University of Bordeaux, followed by an informal discussion over a buffet.
These seminars take place on the fourth Wednesday of every month, from 12 noon to 2 pm, for the fourth and final MITS seminar before the new academic year begins in September 2026.
