‘Sexuality and Sexual Health: the benefits of an intersectoral approach’.

Nathalie Bajos is a sociologist, demographer, research director at Inserm and director of studies at EHESS, as well as patron of the 2025-2026 class at Isped.
She is a member of many scientific committees in France and abroad, and conducts research on the social production of health inequalities in the field of sexuality and sexual health, where she has chaired the National Council on HIV and Viral Hepatitis since 2024. but also on sexual violence in the Catholic Church, as well as on Covid-19 and cardiovascular disease, within the Interdisciplinary Research Institute on Social Issues – Social Sciences, Politics, Health.
Drawing on a multidisciplinary approach, Nathalie Bajos collaborates with demographers, epidemiologists and economists to advance public decision-making, and with health professionals to work on large-scale quantitative surveys of the general population and qualitative surveys.
