BBPH Week: an event for young researchers at the BPH

Retour

The association of young researchers at the Bordeaux Population Health Centre (BBPH) is organizing its Big Welcome Week from 7 to 11 October. This is an opportunity to create links between new arrivals and current members, while promoting the work they are doing at our research center

Throughout the year, the BBPH association brings together engineers, post-doctoral researchers, doctoral students, and other non-regular staff at the centre to enliven life at BPH with weekly seminars and other events that promote scientific exchange and conviviality.

For the start of the 2025 academic year, they have prepared an original and diverse programme.

– Opening on Tuesday, 7 October at 4 p.m. in the Louis Amphi at ISPED with a seminar dedicated to academic careers: ‘Academic careers and young researchers: which competitive examinations?’.
Viviane Philipps, Charlotte Bernard, Mélissa Macalli and Camille Ouvrard-Brouillou will share their experiences, followed by a cocktail reception.

– On Wednesday 8 October at 1 p.m. in the Chastang room, the weekly seminar will take place with a presentation of the work of Anne-Andrée Ruiz and Natacha Lebrun.

– Finally, the week will conclude on Saturday 11 October with an integration and cohesion day, giving participants the chance to discover Bordeaux through a city rally, a visit to Château Luchey Halde with wine tasting, followed by a convivial evening at the Vintage Café.
Please note that registration for Saturday’s activities is required.
