Leader of SEPIA team

Helene Amieva has been a CNRS researcher (2003-2012) and is now a Professor of Psychogerontology and head of the INSERM research group “Psychoepidemiology of Aging and Chronic diseases”.

After studying Psychology, she earned a PhD in Neurosciences, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Aberdeen University(UK) before training in Epidemiology. 

Since 2012, she is the executive secretary of the French Speaking Neuropsychological Society.

Research topic: neuropsychology and epidemiology of aging.

Most of her researches combine psychological and epidemiological approaches to better understand the clinical trajectories of pathological cognitive aging.
