Perrier de l&rsquo; Institut des Neurosciences de Montpellier (Inserm) et dans lequel <strong>Cecilia Sami\u00e9ri de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe BPH ELEANOR<\/strong>\u00a0 est l\u2019Inserm, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans l<strong>\u2019\u00e9pid\u00e9miologie du vieillissement c\u00e9r\u00e9bral<\/strong>, le travail de Cecilia Samieri vise \u00e0 <strong>comprendre le r\u00f4le des facteurs environnementaux dans l\u2019apparition des maladies c\u00e9r\u00e9brales li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge, en particulier la d\u00e9mence et sa forme principale, la maladie d\u2019Alzheimer.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cecilia et son groupe ELEANOR du BPH, s\u2019appuient sur l\u2019<strong>\u00e9pid\u00e9miologie mol\u00e9culaire<\/strong> et le <strong>ph\u00e9notypage profond du cerveau<\/strong>, pour identifier les facteurs et les m\u00e9canismes qui, t\u00f4t dans la vie, permettent au cerveau de s\u2019adapter au vieillissement ou, au contraire, de conduire \u00e0 la d\u00e9mence de la maladie d\u2019Alzheimer. Ces \u00e9tudes visent \u00e0 mettre en place des\u00a0 strat\u00e9gies de pr\u00e9vention pr\u00e9coce susceptibles de retarder ou d\u2019\u00e9viter la maladie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h1 style=\"padding-left: 80px; text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>L\u2019objectif ultime est de r\u00e9duire le fardeau que repr\u00e9sente cette maladie pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">Pour caract\u00e9riser, dans plusieurs matrices biologiques, les empreintes biologiques de polluants associ\u00e9es au vieillissement c\u00e9r\u00e9bral et \u00e0 la maladie d&rsquo;Alzheimer et d\u00e9crypter les m\u00e9canismes d&rsquo;action des signatures de polluants identifi\u00e9es, du neurod\u00e9veloppement \u00e0 la neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence, dans divers mod\u00e8les pr\u00e9cliniques, ils s&rsquo;appuieront sur plusieurs cohortes fran\u00e7aises\/europ\u00e9ennes, y compris deux cohortes mises en place au BPH:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>les \u00e9tudes<a href=\"https:\/\/the-three-city-study-3c.com\/\"><strong> Trois-cit\u00e9 (3C)<\/strong><\/a> regroupent <b>9 294 participants de 3 villes diff\u00e9rentes (Bordeaux, Dijon et Montpellier) pour la pr\u00e9vention de la d\u00e9mence, <\/b><b>d\u00e9terminer le lien entre les maladies vasculaires et la maladie d\u2019Alzheimer.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:
