Ilana Caro, doctorante dans l’\u00e9quipe ELEANOR<\/a>, a re\u00e7u le Prix Jeune chercheur \u00e0 la 10e European Stroke Organisation (SEO) Conference qui s’est tenu \u00e0 Basel du 15\u201317 May 2024.<\/strong><\/div>\n
L’\u00e9tude sur laquelle travaille Ilana Caro porte sur la maladie des petits vaisseaux c\u00e9r\u00e9braux (cSVD), une cause majeure d’accident vasculaire c\u00e9r\u00e9bral et de d\u00e9mence dont les m\u00e9canismes mol\u00e9culaires sont encore largement inconnus.

L’European Stroke Organisation<\/a> a pour objectif de rassembler une communaut\u00e9 scientifique autour de projets de niveau europ\u00e9en qui visent \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la prise en charge des AVC.
\nL’ESO se consacre \u00e0 :<\/p>\n

  • Sensibiliser \u00e0 tous les aspects de l’AVC.<\/li>\n
  • \u00c9laborer des politiques publiques visant \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le nombre de d\u00e9c\u00e8s dus aux accidents vasculaires c\u00e9r\u00e9braux et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les soins aux patients victimes d’un accident vasculaire c\u00e9r\u00e9bral ainsi que la qualit\u00e9 de vie des survivants.<\/li>\n
  • Favoriser l’\u00e9ducation des professionnels et du public.<\/li>\n
  • \u00c9tablir des programmes d’enseignement internationaux par l’interm\u00e9diaire d’organisations nationales\/r\u00e9gionales.<\/li>\n
  • Soutenir les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s nationales pour qu’elles financent un plus grand nombre d’activit\u00e9s.<\/li>\n
  • Encourager les activit\u00e9s r\u00e9gionales des organisations, des r\u00e9seaux de l’AVC et des fondations qui r\u00e9pondent aux objectifs de l’ESO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
